Synopsis: Gerry Hinton thought she had the perfect career as an operative for the Company. Her next assignment should have been another "mission accomplished", but hell was delivering hand baskets that day.
When a little girl gives a mysterious silver box to Gerry, her world self-destructs. Suddenly under constant mental attacks, the only person who can save her is her partner, Nicky--but nothing comes without a cost. Secrets buried deep in the past begin to rise, threatening everything she holds dear.
If she can't out run her past, can she save her future?

Review: I would like to thank Promotional Book Tours and the author, Olivia Hardin for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I would like to preface this review by saying that I really enjoyed this book. I like the characters, Gerry and Nicky. I liked the action in the book, and I like the paranormal elements of the book.
However, I haven't read Books 1 and 2 in this trilogy, and that detracted alot from the enjoyment of the book. Alot of it went way over my head, and I don't think I understood half of the book as I probably would have had I read the first two books. But, this in no way reflects negatively upon the book or the author's style of writing, it's just a sad reminder that if I do read a book in a series, I really should read the entire series first.
